I wanted love so bad

You know when you wanted something so bad you could almost see it right before your eyes? But then you reach out and everything’s just a figment of your imagination.

The silly me then thought it would be easy to find love. I looked for it in a number of people who ended up breaking my heart into pieces…and leaving me with nothing but memories I’d rather forget.

So much for that longing……
